Owner/DentistDr. Klara Nazaryan Efner is a general dentist and the owner of Serene Dentistry Ventura, bringing over two decades of dental experience to her patients. Originally from Yerevan, Armenia, Dr. Efner completed her initial dental training at Yerevan State Medical University. After moving to the United States, she worked as a Dental Assistant for nine years before earning her U.S. dental credentials from the University of the Pacific, A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Passionate about whole-body health, gentle patient care, and personalized service, Dr. Efner creates a serene, spa-like experience for her patients and is committed to ongoing excellence through more than 100 hours of continuing education annually. As a Kois-trained dentist and active member—and incoming Vice President—of the Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Society, she blends cutting-edge clinical excellence with a nurturing approach. Dr. Efner’s wellness philosophy extends beyond the dental chair; she is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys sharing wellness practices with her community. Outside the practice, she enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family, including her two daughters. Dr. Efner is actively involved in dental outreach for underserved populations both locally and abroad.
